We've been clients of Kidmans for many years, most recently working with Pravneel and his team. Kidmans has helped us tremendously from both a business and personal accounting and tax perspective. I have particularly valued and appreciated the time Prav has taken to understand our business and circumstances, to enable him to provide really good, targeted advice. I would highly recommend.Posted on Google![]()

Exceptional Service and Outcome. From the very start of preparing a budget to best strategies to secure a home Prashneel of Kidmans Partners was with us. He was really on our side and assisted in the many details of obtaining a mortgage. I recommend him very highly. Daniel SuleimanPosted on Google![]()

My wife and I were considering refinancing our home loan for a while given the uncertain nature of the interest rate forecast in the upcoming months. When we approached Prashneel, our goal was to find a package that is better than our current one, and not only did Prashneel managed to do that but he also superseded all our expectations. He has a broad knowledge of the field and the professional advice offered to us through out the process eliminated any doubt that we had initially about this move. In summary, we would recommend his services to anyone without any hesitation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Both. We work with facility operators, not-for-profit boards, and retirement village managers on the provider side, and with families navigating the financial and legal process of transitioning a loved one into residential care. The two are quite different in scope, and we have experience in both.
APRA sets the prudential standards that apply to aged care providers in relation to financial reporting and resident accommodation deposits. This includes requirements around how Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) are held and reported. Non-compliance can affect your aged care approval status, so getting the financial reporting right is not optional.
Yes. Not-for-profit aged care providers may be eligible for income tax exemption, GST concessions, and specific FBT treatment. The rules vary depending on your registration status and the nature of your activities. We advise on structuring to ensure you’re accessing the concessions you’re entitled to.
A RAD is a lump sum a resident pays toward their accommodation in residential aged care, either in full or alongside daily accommodation payments. The provider must refund the remaining balance when the resident leaves or passes away, after permitted deductions, including applicable retention amounts. Providers must manage RADs in line with aged care financial reporting and prudential requirements overseen by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Specialist accounting advice can help providers manage reporting, forecast cash flow, and ensure they have sufficient funds to meet refund obligations.
Aged care acquisitions involve several layers of due diligence beyond a standard business purchase, including review of regulatory approvals, resident agreements, RAD liabilities, ACQSC compliance history, and staffing cost structures. We provide financial due diligence for aged care acquisitions and can model the financial impact of facility expansion, including capital requirements and funding.
